Criminal damage to plant containers - Hayle |

Devon & Cornwall Police are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage along Fore Street, Hayle, which occurred overnight between 19th and 20th July, 2026.
At some point during the night, unknown person(s) damaged a number of community plant containers and plants that had been created and maintained by local volunteers. The damage was discovered the following morning and has had a significant impact on a project that has been supported by members of the local community.
We want to hear from anyone who was in the area during the overnight hours and witnessed any suspicious behaviour, or who may have CCTV, doorbell, dashcam, or other footage that could assist with enquiries. Anyone with information or CCTV in the area is asked to contact police via the Devon & Cornwall Police website or by calling 101 quoting 50260190462.
